RIKICO

The RIKICO orienteering and adventure club is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote and organize orienteering and adventure races in the Lower St. Lawrence region. RIKICO was co-founded in 2021 by Olivier Legault, AndrĂ© Cyr and AndrĂ©anne Beardsell. SĂ©bastien Sirois joined the organization in 2022. RIKICO aims to promote physical activity among both adults and young people through various outdoor sporting events. Our passion for this sport, coupled with our desire to help people discover our region’s natural spaces, is at the heart of what motivates us.

Specific objectives

Promote physical activity

Promote physical activity among adults and young people through fun and convivial sports.

Train

Train people in disciplines related to orienteering and adventure and adventure racing.

Develop activities

Develop team and individual activities related to orienteering (e.g., running, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing).

Collaborate

Collaborate and establish partnerships with local businesses and organizations in the outdoor and tourism industries to enhance multi-sport orienteering races.

Discover

Promote the different attractions of the region to the local population and to visitors taking part in events, through the choice of location and race routes.

Accessibility

Make the discipline accessible to all populations and all levels of performance.
